The Mold Monkies and beer: Part Deux. Last August’s heady gig at the brewery was an amazing love-fest of music and fun. And we’ve been asked back again! Come join us at Connecticut’s finest purveyor of grain-based fizzy lifting drink. $5 admission gets you two sets of Monky music, free samples, and a brewery tour. Doors open at 6 p.m.; Monkies go on at 7.

Tag Team Rock 'n' Roll! The Ivory Bills and the Mold Monkies battle it out in the ring! Two bands enter, only one leaves ... well, not exactly -- the two bands trade sets, and then decompose a brief late-night jam at the end! The Monkies welcome back our founding drummer, Paul Tascione, who is kind enough to help us out for our July shows!

The Mold Monkies rock the Eli Whitney Museum during a benefit on Nov. 12 that raised more than $7,500 for New Orleans musicians. The Monkeyphone (the white circular thing — a megaphone and siren rigged with a footswitch by Nick) worked perfectly!
